They are not reading as much as they normally do

My fifth graders seem to be reading less outside of school than they have in years past. I’ve been trying to figure out if something is going on with this group of kids, or if it is something else.

If I had to guess, I would say that my kids are reading less might have something to do with the fact that our new reading curriculum means we have less time…
