On Friday, we finished our read aloud of Lynda Mullally Hunt’s One for The Murphys. It was a beautiful, heartbreaking, and magical ride. Going into the read aloud, I knew that many of my students wouldn’t be thrilled with the way the story ends. Part of the reason I chose the book is because of the ending.
